Thank you for visiting GM Shaved Ice blog. Heidi, George, Michele, and Sabrina created
this fictional food truck for our Marketing 351 class at Cal State
Fullerton. We are writing a marketing
plan for GM Shaved Ice for our final project.
Throughout the five weeks of the course, we will work cohesively to apply the
knowledge we learned to our marketing plan.
We cannot wait to share our progress with you. Feel free to ask us questions or give us
feedback about our work.
The team chose to market a food truck due to its rising
popularity and flexible place strategy food trucks are for consumers. We chose shaved ice as our product because we
felt the product has a great opportunity to thrive in the existing market.
We based the name GM
Shaved Ice off the first letter in our names.
We liked how the first four letters of our company’s name can represent
our hard work in the project.

We want our mission statement to reflect our goal of
providing quality shaved ice and related products. Customers should have an engaging experience
before, during, and after eating our product.
We also want to increase profitable growth, create a strong employee
culture, and be environmentally and socially sustainable.
